Education and empowerment

Quality education is the bedrock of every thriving and stable economy.

Despite local and international efforts, there is still a high level of illiterate people in our society. This stems from a lack of access to quality education especially among women and girls, poverty, neglect of the girl child, child trafficking, increasing cost of education, conflicts, and social displacement etc. Yet these are exacerbated by a lack of access to affordable and marketable technical and vocational skills programs.

Our intervention

We promote access to education by promoting, encouraging and conducting targeted scholarship and workable gender-sensitive skill acquisition programs. We help to set up business hubs, promote idea exchange and encourage young people to confound business enterprises. We carry out localized educational needs assessments and help to proffer sponsored solutions. We bridge the gaps between philanthropists and the people truly in need by designing relevant programs and selecting beneficiaries. We strive to create awareness within local communities on the need for girl-child education, adult women’s education, support for out-of-school adolescents, and the establishment of special adult literacy and skill development centres.
