In line with its commitment to improving the well-being of vulnerable groups, the Youth Action for Rural Development Initiative (YARDI) is organizing a Free Medical Outreach this Saturday.
The outreach, which will take place in a less privileged community, is aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to individuals and families who may otherwise lack the resources to seek proper medical attention.
This initiative reflects YARDI’s dedication to its thematic focus areas:
Women and the Girl Child – Ensuring that women and girls receive quality health support and information.
Health and Social Welfare – Promoting the physical and mental well-being of underserved populations.
Education and Empowerment – Creating awareness about preventive health practices and empowering communities with knowledge for healthier living.
Agriculture and Food Security – Recognizing the direct link between nutrition, food security, and overall community health.
During the outreach, participants will have access to free medical consultations, basic health screenings, medications, and health education delivered by qualified professionals.
Speaking ahead of the program, YARDI leadership emphasized that health is a fundamental human right, and the organization is committed to bridging healthcare gaps in rural and underserved communities.
YARDI therefore invites community members to take advantage of this opportunity, while also calling on partners, volunteers, and well-meaning individuals to support this noble cause.
Together, we can build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.
